List Maker allows you to create directory lists with the option to include the files contained in them. To operate the program you first have to select the drive and the folder - the one you select will be shown in the "Selected Start Path" text box. The report will include all the subfolders contained in the selected folder. After you have set all the desired parameters to generate the report, you just need to select the "Start" option and the program will ask you to type the target file name and select its destination folder.
If you choose the "Include Files" option, all the files contained in the directories and subdirectories will be automatically added to the report, and you can choose to include only a certain type of files by specifying their extension; with this option you cannot select more than one file extension - neither by typing the file extension, e.g. *.XLS, nor by selecting an option from the list.
Maybe the main advantage of List Maker is that you can select different format options for the report: TXT, CSV, or HTML with full details or only names. Another option is that you can append more information to a previously generated report.
